- Follow appropriate WHS practices and work procedures when examining stock in racks or shelves
- Follow safe working practices when handling or moving stock
- Use appropriate lifting equipment to lift heavy or awkward loads
- Use appropriate posture and lifting techniques for manual handling of materials
- Seek assistance in handling materials when necessary
- Store materials in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturer recommendations
